I recently had a conversation with a Winona resident on twitter. This individual said they went camping a few weeks ago and was bitten by a squirrel. I'm beginning to think this could have been one of the 'mutant squirrels' I heard about a month or so back. There's an increasing number of people with squirrel tendencies and interests that seem extreme. So extreme that they aren't sure why this started happening. Some people are embracing it, which I am not against, but there still needs to be answers to why.
This may seem like an extreme conspiracy but there's evidence that ties it all together. I am not sure if these symptoms are transmitted from human to human but it sounds like it originated from direct human to squirrel contact. I will keep you all updated on the information I find in the near future.

Seriously, what was your friend doing that got them bitten. People blame the squirrel first when something like this happens. But squirrels are not like humans, who fight to hurt each other. Humans can be so petty and disloyal. Squirrels only fight when they have to. A squirrel won't convince you that they love you and then start a family with you... the whole time cheating on you with your best friend... and then leave you. A squirrel will not take your children away from you and force you to pay child support! AND THEN TURN YOUR OWN CHILDREN AGAINST YOU! ONLY HUMANS DO THAT!
ReplyDeleteI'm unsure. Maybe he was wanting to try and say hi and pet the squirrel but the squirrel got scared and lashed out.
DeleteAs for the pettiness of humans... I couldn't agree more. Maybe we SHOULD try to be more like squirrels. This would probably make society much simpler.
I agree with GJ, I work with an organization to save squirrels. They're SO friendly, I think your friend did something to upset the squirrel...
DeleteThis is not the first time I have seen bite marks like this. A Co-worker came into work earlier this week with similar marks on his ankles.
